The Nokia 5800 is a portable entertainment device by Nokia.
The Nokia 5800, code-named "Tube," is a Symbian S60 smartphone. It is an XpressMusic series phone, which emphasizes music and multimedia playback. While it has tactile feedback, it doesn't use Nokia's upcoming Haptikos technology.
It has a compatibility mode for Java applications that aren't touchscreen-aware. It works by using part of the screen for displaying the essential buttons required by the program.
A prototype of this handset was seen in the 2008 Batman movie, The Dark Knight, as well as Britney Spears' US #1 hit "Womanizer" and Christina Aguilera's "Keeps Gettin' Better" music videos.
The phone has received generally positive reviews, with UK phone magazine Mobile Choice awarding it a full 5 stars in its Feb 8th issue.
On January 23rd 2009, Nokia announced it had shipped the millionth 5800 XpressMusic device, even though it still had not been fully released worldwide. The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is not the first touchscreen device in Nokia's range. In 2004, the Nokia 7700 was announced, a Symbian Series 90 device that was cancelled before it reached the market. This was followed by the Nokia 7710 which was an upgraded version of the 7700, which became available during 2005. Nokia also produced the UIQ-based Nokia 6708 phone in 2005, but this was not an in-house development and was bought in from Taiwansese manufacturer BenQ. Nokia have also produced a range of Maemo-based Internet Tablets which have a touchscreen interface, however these are not mobile phones. The 5800 is, however, Nokia's first Symbian S60 touchscreen device.

Latest laptop..

The Lenovo N200 is a mid-range consumer laptop aimed to compete against the Dell E1505, Toshiba A200/205 and other laptops in that category. The N200 model is a refreshing update to the previous N100 line, with enhancements such as the Santa Rosa chipset, double the dedicated video memory, express card instead of PC-card, and Windows Vista.
The N200 is a very solid laptop with minimalistic design features. The basic silver paintjob and dark grey plastic inside don’t automatically stick out from the crowd in terms of looks. Where it really shines is build quality, ease of upgrading, and solid Thinkpad geared keyboard. The screen hinges are very solid ... which you would expect from the company that brings you the very durable ThinkPad business line. The screen latches hold the lid down very firmly by keeping a bit of tension on the rubber guards placed around the screen edges. The chassis is very nice and produces no plastic squeaks or creaks when you lift it up. The entire area around and below the keyboard is supported very well with little or no flex under pressure. Pressing firmly along all parts of the keyboard shows no sign of weakness or give.
Like others in the Lenovo line, upgrading the laptop is easy without completely dismantling the entire laptop. Each area has its own cover held in by one or two Phillips head screws. This includes the ram, hard drive/wireless card, and the CPU/heatsink area. Almost any upgrade the average or power notebook user would ever need to do to this laptop throughout its useful lifespan could be dealt with through these sections.
The N200 is a very competitive laptop in the upper middle price range. If you configure a Dell or Toshiba laptop with similar specs you will spend as much as $200 more than the N200 price ... and they still lack the Santa Rosa platform. The N200 also had nice touches like Vista ultimate and a single 2gb stick of DDR2 (quite expensive compared to two 1gb sticks) included at no additional cost. The only drawback to the N200 is its very basic look and feel compared to much more stylish computers on the market. That said, the Lenovo N200 is something to consider if you are one of the shoppers who are more interested in features and cost than looks.

We weren’t impressed at all with the Samsung Armani Night Effect as it was a bit too cheesy for our taste with its multi-colored lighting scheme and excessive Armani branding. However, this latest news that Samsung will be releasing an Armani phone loaded with Windows Mobile 6.5 later this year has definitely got our attention.
Samsung Taiwan mobile marketing department director Ryu Jae-hyun revealed this in an interview with Taipei Times. A new Samsung Armani phone is indeed in the works and it will feature Microsoft’s latest mobile operating system that’s been updated to be more competitive in the touchscreen phone era.
Apart from that, we haven’t got the slightest clue as to what this new Armani phone will pack. Nevertheless, considering that Windows Mobile 6.5 is highly centered on its new touch interface, this new Samsung Armani phone will most likely be a full touchscreen device.
That’s it for now, folks, but stayed tuned as we’ll be keeping tabs on the latest developments on this one and other announcements regarding the all-new and improved Windows Mobile 6.5 OS.
